Ryan Hitch

Ryan Hitch is a first-year PhD student in the Political Science program at the CUNY Graduate Center. His research focuses on international security and foreign policy, with an emphasis on alliance politics and the foreign policy strategies of middle powers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College (2016), a Master of Science from the Technical University of Munich (2020), and an Master of Arts in Political Science from the CUNY Graduate Center (2023). Ryan is currently a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the City College of New York and has previously held writing fellowships at the Technical University of Munich and the US Military Academy at West Point. Ryan aims to incorporate China-related content in his international relations courses at City College.
