Second Session: CACI Fall 2025

9 – 9:15 am: Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Fellows discussed principles from UDL and how they applied to integrating China Studies into their curriculum, by making the material more accessible and relevant to students by drawing on their everyday experiences.

9:15 – 9:30 am: Introducing the CACI Repository
- Fellows were introduced to the CACI Teaching Resources Repository and the various class activities and material that is already available on it.
9:30-10:15 am: Pair Activity Developing either (a) Class Activity; (b) Topic Guide
- Fellows worked in pairs to develop either a Class Activity or a Topic Guide. These initial materials developed during this session was edited over the next two weeks and have bene uploaded on to the repository.
10:15-10:45 am: Presentations and Feedback on Teaching Resource
- Fellows briefly presented their work from this session and received feedback from each other that they could integrate in their revisions.
10:45-11 am: Check-In with Semester Progress and Teaching Observation Sign-Ups
- Fellows were reminded that teaching observations of sessions hosted by Teaching Fellows are now open. Fellows will, over the course of the next few weeks, visit the classes of Teaching Fellows.
